General performance
ABS is made of styrene, acrylonitrile and butadiene whey copolymerization, the appearance of natural color is toothed, non-toxic and tasteless, both toughness, hardness, rigid characteristics, ABS plastic sheet has good comprehensive performance. ABS plastic sheet itself has good heat resistance and solvent resistance, and has gloss, impact strength, tensile strength and surface hardness of plastic parts, good dimensional stability, wear resistance, chemical resistance, dyeing, molding and mechanical processing.
Mechanical properties
Its impact strength is excellent, can be used at very low temperatures; ABS has excellent wear resistance, good dimensional stability, and oil resistance, which can be used for bearings under medium load and speed.
Environmental performance
ABS is not affected by water, inorganic salts, alkali and a variety of acids, but soluble in ketones, aldehydes and chlorinated hydrocarbons, by glacial acetic acid, vegetable oil erosion will produce stress cracking. ABS has poor weather resistance and is easy to degrade under the action of ultraviolet light. After six months outdoors, the impact strength decreases by half.
